Chilli Pepper Padron is a fantastic choice for anyone who enjoys growing something a little different. The compact, bushy plants are suitable for containers, greenhouses, patios and open ground. The fruits are ideal for frying, grilling or using in Spanish-style tapas dishes.

Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds indoors from March to April in pots or seed trays. Sow approximately 0.5 cm deep in moist, well-drained compost and keep warm until germination.
Transplant seedlings when they are large enough to handle. Plant outdoors or into larger containers from May to June, after the risk of frost has passed. Space plants around 40 × 40 cm apart to allow good airflow and healthy growth.

Growing Conditions and Care

Position: Full sun
Padron peppers grow best in a sunny, sheltered position. Water regularly, especially during dry weather, and feed once the plants begin to flower and fruit.

Harvesting and Use
