Growing Information
Annual poppies do not transplant well, so it is best to sow Poppy ‘Danish Flag’ seeds directly where they are to flower.
Sow outdoors from late March to May in moist, prepared soil. Scatter the seeds thinly, cover with a very light layer of soil and press down gently. Keep the soil moist during germination.
Avoid sowing too thickly. Once seedlings appear, thin them out to around 15 x 15 cm apart to allow plants enough room to grow.
For a longer flowering display, sow several times in succession. Water regularly during dry periods.
