Sowing Instructions

• When to Sow.
• Sow seeds on the surface of moist seed compost and lightly cover with a fine layer of compost or vermiculite. Keep warm and evenly moist until germination. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, pot them on individually.
• Plant outdoors in April after hardening off indoor-grown plants, or sow directly into their final growing position from June to August.
• Flowers from July to September. Early indoor sowing can produce flowers in the first year, while later sowings establish strong plants for many years of summer colour.

• Prefers fertile, well-drained soil.
• Water regularly while plants establish, then only during prolonged dry periods.
