Growing Information

Loosen the soil tablet following the instructions inside the packaging. Scatter the kale seeds evenly over the soil and cover with a thin layer of soil. Keep the soil sufficiently moist and place the bowl in a bright position.

Kale can be harvested as microleaf after around 1 week. At this young stage, the leaves are buttery soft and ideal for smoothies, salads and fresh garnishes.

For baby leaf kale, allow the plants to grow for a few more weeks. The young leaves can then be used in wraps, pasta dishes, salads or stir-fries. Baby leaf kale is especially delicious stir-fried with nuts or mixed with other vegetables.
