Growing Information
Sow seeds indoors from February to April in trays or pots. Press the seeds lightly onto the surface of moist compost and cover very lightly, as they need some light to germinate. Keep warm and moist until seedlings appear.
Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle and plant outdoors after the risk of frost has passed. Balloon Flowers prefer a sunny or lightly shaded position with well-drained soil. Once established, they are hardy and low-maintenance.
Why You’ll Love It
Balloon Flower White adds a soft, elegant touch to the garden. The unusual balloon-shaped buds make it especially charming before the flowers open, and the clean white blooms look beautiful in borders and summer flower displays.
