Growing Information
When to Sow
- Indoors: February – June
- Seeds can also be started indoors year-round in a warm environment.
How to Sow
Sow seeds indoors in trays or small pots filled with moist seed compost. Cover lightly with compost and maintain a temperature of around 20°C. Keep the compost evenly moist until germination.
Planting Out
Once all risk of frost has passed, usually from late May, gradually harden off young plants before transplanting to a sunny, sheltered location. Provide a trellis, netting or other support for climbing.
Flowering
Flowers continuously from June to November, producing an abundance of cheerful blooms throughout the growing season.
