Sowing Instructions

• When to Sow.
• Sow seeds indoors in trays or small pots filled with moist seed compost. Cover lightly with compost and maintain a temperature of around 20°C. Keep the compost evenly moist until germination.

Growing Conditions and Care

Easy to grow and flowering over a long season, Black-Eyed Susan Vine is ideal for bringing vibrant colour to sunny, sheltered spaces.
• Position: Full Sun
• Once all risk of frost has passed, usually from late May, gradually harden off young plants before transplanting to a sunny, sheltered location. Provide a trellis, netting or other support for climbing.
• Grow in a warm, sunny and sheltered position.
• Prefers fertile, well-drained soil or quality compost in containers.
• Water regularly during dry weather, especially when grown in pots.
• Feed every few weeks during the flowering season to encourage continuous blooms.
