Growing Information
Plant dahlia tubers in spring after the risk of frost has passed. Choose a sunny, sheltered position with fertile, well-drained soil. Plant the tuber with the growing point facing upwards and cover with soil.
Water regularly during dry weather and feed during the growing season for strong growth and plenty of flowers. Taller plants may need support. Remove faded blooms to encourage continuous flowering.
Lift and store tubers over winter in colder areas, or protect well with mulch if leaving them in the ground.
