Sowing Instructions

• When to Sow.
• For flowering in the same year, sow indoors from February to March and transplant outdoors during April or May.
• For spectacular spring blooms the following year, sow outdoors from June to August in a seedbed and transplant to their final position in autumn.
• Sow seeds thinly in trays or modules filled with fine seed compost, covering them lightly with compost or vermiculite. Keep the compost evenly moist and place in a bright location. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots before hardening off and planting outdoors.
