Growing Information
When to Sow
Sow indoors from March to April, or sow directly outdoors from April to May once the soil has warmed and the risk of frost has passed.
How to Sow
Sow seeds 1–2 cm deep in fertile, well-drained soil. If starting indoors, transplant seedlings outside after all danger of frost has passed. Space plants 25–30 cm apart to give them room to branch and flower freely.
Growing Tips
Grow in a sunny position for the best flowering display. Water regularly during dry periods, especially when growing in containers. Feed every few weeks with a balanced fertiliser to encourage continuous flowering. Remove spent blooms regularly to promote the production of new flowers on the side shoots.
